Our nanosized curcumin (UHOZO) demonstrates 17.5 times higher absorption in cells as compared with raw curcumin. Due to significantly higher absorption, small daily dosages are required for good therapeutic ability. Safety Assays

Various assays have been performed to check the safety for our nanosized curcumin (UHOZO). According to the “Globally Harmonized Classification System (GHS) for classification of chemicals which cause acute toxicity (OECD), UHOZO has been classified in GHS category 5 which is completely safe to consume.

Another heart enzyme (hERG toxicity) assessment demonstrated that UHOZO exhibits no toxicity towards heart enzyme. hERG toxicity is one of the most important safety assays for drug candidates.

Tumor Treatment Experiment

A unique approach was adopted for tumor treatment study in animals with treatment groups as (SD), UHOZO alone, UHOZO with standard drug and pre-treatment with UHOZO before development of tumor. The UHOZO along with chemo drug achieved maximum tumor reduction of more than 50% and delayed tumor development in pre-treatment group.

The above experiment demonstrates that UHOZO is a potential complementary drug for cancer patients.
